Emily Remler

Emily Remler was an American jazz guitarist born in New York City in 1957. She began playing guitar at the age of 12 and was influenced by jazz legends such as Wes Montgomery and Barney Kessel. Remler went on to become a sought-after session player and performer, and released several critically acclaimed albums as a leader. She was known for her virtuosic playing and her unique sound, which combined elements of traditional jazz with contemporary fusion and world music. Sadly, Remler passed away in 1990 at the young age of 32, but her musical legacy continues to inspire new generations of jazz guitarists.
