Do you take custom orders?

Not really, but I do take suggestions. If I like the idea and it’s realistic, I’m happy to make it.

Where’s my order?

A download link appears right after checkout, and another is sent to your email along with your receipt. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it. If you created an account before or during your purchase, you can also track your orders and download your files anytime from your dashboard.

Can Patrons access any file?

Patrons get instant access to any file (PDF or Guitar Pro, depending on your tier) made in the last 6 months, plus every new transcription going forward — no extra cost. Older files still need to be bought individually through the store.

What do you use for transcribing?

Mainly my ears 🤸. But I also use software to make the process easier — notably Transcribe!, which lets me slow the music down while keeping decent audio quality, and has a solid built-in EQ. The notation itself is done in Guitar Pro, for better and for worse — I’m too old and grumpy to learn a new software at this point.

Do you have perfect pitch?

No, I don’t — I’m actually pretty average at ear training. My approach to transcribing is based on pattern recognition, built up from years of playing and transcribing.
